Exciting work happening in art classes….!
Here is one of my demos from a recent Life Drawing session. I have been demonstrating some different ways of using watercolours which offer a “looser” style of working. The results have been really exciting!
To see some examples please navigate to my “Classes and Workshops” (see menu at the top of this page).

I always have several sketchbooks on the go at once, and rarely a day goes by without drawing or writing
in at least one of them. They are vital for clarifying my thinking and testing ideas.
Sometimes it’s just a way to keep practising…!

This portrait was commissioned to celebrate an important milestone in a very special relationship. It took 13 sittings, as well as many extra hours working on the background and surrounding objects, all of which are significant. Great hilarity was had in the process!
Please view my “Portraits” page for more examples.
NEW FOR SEPTEMBER: Keep up to date with any changes to classes in September on my “Classes and Workshops” page.
